I am so excited to say that my essay, “Moving from Blue to Green,” will be read and acted out as part of a performance, “Among Trees,” to be held in Princeton on Thursday, July 15, at 7 p.m. The event will be sponsored by Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts and others, including Small World Coffee and the Friends of Herrontown Woods.
The event will feature professional musicians and actors who will present an evening of songs, scenes and more on the stage near Veblen House in Herrontown Woods.
“Among Trees: A Midsummer Theatrical Event” is a celebration of nature, trees and preservation and a chance to learn more about the community space at Herrontown Woods, according to an announcement from its organizers. Damsel, Mika Godbole, John Burkhalter, Fiona Tyndall, Katharine Powell and others will perform an eclectic mix of sound and words that will connect the audience to this outdoor space.
Organized by Vivia Font (Lewis Center lecturer) and Ben Steinfeld (NYU Gallatin lecturer), the event is presented in partnership with the Friends of the Herrontown Woods, the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University and Small World Coffee.
More to come!
