My career as a science writer has taken me around the world. It’s allowed me to meet some of the best scientific and technological minds of modern times. Beyond the treasure trove of stories I found in my own backyard, from the legacy of Einstein in Princeton to the brilliance of Bell Labs, I have traveled to Iceland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the Philippines to shine a light on issues at the intersection between research and culture.
I am currently chronicling the emerging tech culture in Newark, teaching journalism, and writing science books.
